Greetings and welcome to my website and portfolio.
My profession (that pays for my camera gear) is working for U.S. Army Public Affairs, and my job is telling the military story through digital media, writing articles and taking photos -- A LOT of photos! From photographing military operations to celebrities, this wonderful career has opened the doors of opportunity to me in many ways.
My favorite aspect of being a military photojournalist is giving the public a glimpse into military life and what our service members endure and experience every day. From the mom who sees pictures of her son conducting hoist operations from a HH-60 Black Hawk -- to the dad who reads about his daughter learning hand-to-hand combat. My photos and stories connect loved ones to service members serving around the world. I absolutely love what I do and enjoy going to work every day to share the military story.

Photography was my gateway into the digital media world. Soon after learning still photography, I jumped into video production & motion graphics, and was hooked. Taking an idea through the creative process and turning it into a finished product is very satisfying to me.
My multimedia experience also includes website development, social media management and graphic design.
When I'm not geeking out with a camera or computer, I can be found doing a variety of things. You may see me in an ocean kayak chasing whales, or just out for a fun-relaxing day on the golf course. I enjoy being outdoors as much as possible regardless of what I'm doing.

Thank you for taking time to read my bio. If you have not looked through my Portfolio, I invite you to do so. I have photos of some really cool stuff, and photos that will put a smile on your face. I hope you enjoy my work.
